Today we created sun/moon art and when the students were done they played with coffee filters colored with do-a-dot paints to create a tye-dye effect. To create our sun/moon paintings we used black glue to outline the land and sun and then let that dry for a day. We then used sharpies to make designs and finished them off with water colors. I think they look so colorful and fun. Check them out:
