Just in time for the 4th of July, we created firework silhouette paintings today. First, we studied various landscape silhouettes, drew them with a pencil and cut them out. We then used thinned out acrylic and tempura paints to create a firework by blowing the paint with a straw. Then we created starburst patterns with a paint brush. I love the look of these projects and I hope you like them, too.
