| We started our class today by making origami cards for our fathers for Father's Day. Then we explored the world of bubbles. We had two bubble machines going and we observed bubble patterns: What colors do you see in them? How can you tell they are round? How can you see the light in them? What makes them look transparent? Then we went to work by tracing circles with oil pastels and adding color to the bubbles. I love how each student saw the bubbles in a different way. And of course, we ended with a treat. :) |
