Lighthouse Paintings

 This project had lots and lots of steps- sorry we went over time a bit. We learned about light houses and some fun facts about them. Do you know which state in the United States has the most light houses? Do you know which country in the world has the most light houses? Do you know where the brightest light house is that you can see from 37 miles away? Do you know the oldest light house? Ask your artist….they will know.

Drew Brophy Paintings

 We used The Drew Brophy Paintings as our inspiration today. Drew is a surfer and a painter. He painted our Indo Board (which our artists tried to ride today). Drew likes to blend cool and warm colors to make awesome designs. We talked about using cool and warm colors and how to blend them. I love how each one of the personalities came out in each painting. It’s gr8 to create!
