Today we talked about foreground, mid-ground and background. We talked about perspective and how the larger boats will be in the front and the smaller boats will be in the back. We also talked about colors and the farther away something is, the darker it will appear. We used a lot of different art mediums today. We used watercolor for the sky, tempura paint for the water and we sponged acrylic paint for the sand. I think the sailboat pictures look awesome! Way to go artists!
